CTRL is an interactive toolkit designed to help designers explore the importance of human-centred design and rethink AI as a creative tool, rather than a creative replacement.

By including a hands-on card game, a curated collection of inspirational quotes from designers and reflection prompts, users are encouraged to work in teams, share perspectives and draw meaningful connections from human experiences and personal interpretations.
This project was developed in response to a university brief focused on creating a design in response to a key issue within the design industry. I chose to explore the evolving relationship between designers and AI – specifically, how designers can co-exist with AI in a way that preserves the integrity of human-led design.
The CTRL toolkit was developed in alignment with the Double Diamond Framework to better reflect the overall design process and encourage more meaningful engagement.
